Pi Day - March 14, 2021

Pi day is the day that celebrates the number pi, which represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to a circle’s diameter. It is celebrated every year on March 14th because the date 3/14 correlates to the first three and most well known digits of pi, which are 3.14. People celebrate pi day by making a lot of pies, as well as consuming a lot of pie and putting a huge emphasis on 3.14. Some interesting facts about pi are that it has been used for over 250 years, it has no exact value, that pi has its own entire language, and pi used to not have a symbol that represented it.
